Michael Kieschnick is CEO of CREDO, a pioneering social change company he co-founded in 1985, with revenues of over $100 million and cumulative donations to progressive nonprofits of over $78 million. He is the co-author of Credit Where It's Due: Development Banking for Communities. Michael has a PhD in Public Policy from Harvard, and degrees in biology and economics from Stanford. He has helped to create many social enterprises, and currently serves on the boards of Beneficial State Bank Foundation and the League of Conservation Voters. He teaches Urban Studies 137 Innovations in Microcredit and Development Finance.
